Welcome Nugget is a Ballarat-based bikes-for-hire outfit that also specializes in the sale of bicycles and bike accessories, and the service and repair of bicycles. Welcome Nugget provides customers with advice, information and guidance as to biking trails, popular biking destinations within Ballarat and beyond.
Customers have a choice of bicycles - mountain bikes, city bikes, cruisers and road bikes. Our prices and rates are affordable. Our adage? “Now Everyone Can Ride”.
WELCOME NUGGET's rental rates for 2012 are:
- 3 hours = $13
- 8 hours = $18
- 24 hours = $25
- Call us to find out about special rates for a 4 day/3 night Goldfields Track adventure.
Note : A deposit (minimum $50 depending on type of bike) is required for all hire.
Our bikes are fitted with baskets and/or pack racks. All hire includes helmet, bike lock and a 350ml bottle of spring water.

The Goldfields Track is made up of 3 linked sub-tracks : Wallaby Track, Dry Digging Track and Leanganook Track.
Done the Wallaby Track (Mount Buninyong to Daylesford)? Not Bad.
Going for the Dry Diggings Track (Daylesford to Castlemaine)? You’re getting there!
Spittin’ ready for the Leanganook Track (Castlemaine to Bendigo)? You ARE serious!!!
