Give in to going a little bit mad at this year’s Ballarat Begonia Festival, when it returns to the beautiful botanic gardensover the Labour Day long weekend - 12 to 14 March.
It really will be a family favourite as visitors to the 2016 festival will be invited to immerse themselves in the magical world of Alice in Wonderland.
There will be an absurdly delicious Mad Hatter's high tea, whimsical music, dance and poetry and play, all wrapped up in the magical setting inspired the classic story. 2016 will also see the return of the spectacular, one of a kind, World's Largest Outdoor LEGO Flower, which wowed audiences in 2015. Witness the awesomeness again, along with the stunning living Begonia's in the Conservatory.
There will also be talks and tips from gardening specialists, including Better Homes and Gardens landscaping lad, Jason Hodges, along with an assortment of acitivies for all members of the family - children's craft and gardening, live entertainment, and the best of Ballarat's food offering awaits you.
